Shenzhen Government Online reported on August 10 that Shenzhen Bao'an International Airport has begun offering a free city tour for international and regional transit passengers whose layover exceeds six hours. The official page says the service covers eligible connections between international and domestic flights as well as international-to-international itineraries.

The source says foreign passengers must hold a valid visa or meet the 240-hour visa-free transit requirements, and passengers join on a first-come, first-served basis after online registration and arrival at a designated meeting point.
The airport offers two free routes lasting about four to six hours.
