Shanxi outlines elder-health and rehabilitation support during October campaign
A Shanxi government report says the province's October elder-care campaign includes health education, chronic-condition management, rehabilitation nursing and accessibility-focused measures.
A Jincheng Municipal People's Government report published October 2 says Shanxi's 2026 Elderly Care Month runs from October 1 to 31. The report lists health education, electronic health-record work for people aged 65 and over, health consultations, chronic-condition management and rehabilitation nursing among the activities described. It also refers to safer age-friendly environments, home adaptations and accessibility improvements.
