Industry update
Guangzhou adds more Central Asia and Indonesia flight capacity for inbound travel planning
A Guangzhou government update dated August 11 says Air Astana will increase Guangzhou services to Astana and Almaty later this month, while Garuda Indonesia will raise Guangzhou-Jakarta service to daily frequency from September 8.

Guangzhou's August 11 update says Air Astana plans to raise Guangzhou-Astana service from two to three weekly flights starting August 23 and Guangzhou-Almaty service from five to seven weekly flights starting August 28. The same notice says Garuda Indonesia will make Guangzhou-Jakarta service daily from September 8.
For patients and families organizing cross-border care access, more direct and onward flight options can improve itinerary flexibility, especially when a journey includes consultations, rehabilitation reviews, or return visits that need predictable routing.
This is a transport-connectivity update rather than a guarantee about fares, seat availability, baggage rules, or medical-travel suitability on any specific date. Travelers should confirm schedules and entry requirements directly with the airline, border authorities, and the licensed medical institution they plan to visit.
