China issues holiday border-clearance guidance for peak travel days
China's National Immigration Administration forecasts high passenger volumes around the Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day and advises travellers to check documents and port conditions.

On September 22, the National Immigration Administration said it had arranged holiday border-inspection support and forecast substantial cross-border traffic around the Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day. Its notice identifies expected peak dates and lists major airports and land ports expected to see high volumes.
A busy port can affect arrival timing for a scheduled consultation, health check or onward transfer. Build in extra time, check the validity of passports and visas where required, and review current port information before departure. The notice says travellers who need help during clearance may call the 12367 immigration service hotline or ask on-site immigration officers; visa and entry eligibility must still be confirmed through official channels.
